Adrienne Koenigsberg, LCSW
Adrienne Koenigsberg is a dedicated and compassionate behavioral health clinician with over 17 years of experience in the mental health field. For the past decade, she has been a key member of the Quinnipiac University community, providing counseling and support to students navigating a variety of challenges. Adrienne’s expertise lies in working with teenagers and college-age individuals, with a particular passion for supporting sexual assault survivors and facilitating group therapy for grief and trauma recovery.
Before her work at Quinnipiac, Adrienne gained invaluable experience in various settings, including a two-year tenure at Yale New Haven Hospital, where she worked within the Adolescent Intensive Outpatient Program (IOP) and Partial Hospitalization Program (PHP). She also spent four years at Newtown Youth and Family Services and has significant experience working in group homes for teenage girls. Adrienne supervises MSW students and non-licensed colleagues and is deeply committed to fostering the growth of the next generation of mental health professionals.
Adrienne holds a Master of Social Work (MSW) from Fordham University (2007) and a Bachelor of Arts in Psychology from the University of Connecticut (2003). Originally from Ridgefield, CT, she values work-life balance and enjoys spending time with her three children, attending live music events, and traveling to new destinations.
