Sarah Scott, LPC, LADC

Sarah has held a strong passion to help end the stigma surrounding substance use and mental health disorders since she was a teenager. This passion led her to study Mental Health Counseling at Southern Connecticut State University where she earned her Master’s in Clinical Mental Health Counseling, to become an LPC in the state of Connecticut. She then went on to Fordham University to become a LADC.

Sarah’s professional work experience since 2010 includes leading young adult and adult dual-diagnosis groups at an outpatient facility in NYC and providing coaching services in the initial stages of sobriety to individuals of all ages as a Certified Addictions Recovery Coach. Sarah is dedicated to ensuring her clients feel understood and validated.

As part of the Insight Counseling team, she co-leads the Young Adult Group using CBT, DBT, and motivational interviewing. Sarah also provides individual and family therapy for young adults and adults who struggle with substance use and mental health issues.
