She is trained in Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR), which is an evidence-based treatment that has been proven to be effective to help people recover from trauma and other distressing life experiences, including, PTSD, anxiety, depression, and panic disorders.  It can be beneficial for both adults and children because its efficacy does not require mastery of language.

She has a strong history of success working in individual and group settings and has the innate ability to establish rapport and build trust with respect and integrity.  Kathleen believes that all people are inherently resilient with the ability to thrive, given the appropriate support and environment.  Clients often see a reduction in symptoms and improved well-being early on in treatment.
